| Throughout
2004 monthly competitions were held at our SuperBole and XBP centre
to find the Ride the Hill 2004 King of the Hill. Right from the
first competition Stuart led the series table so it was no surprise
that at the October final he was crowned King of the Hill. This
was a extremely impressive performance from Stuart especially
as he was frequently up against riders more used to competing
in the 0800Reverse ATBA National Series.
Although
Stuart was not the only rider to ride away with a new board, Seb
Cox was presented with the EXIT 3-Styler for most improved rider
of 2004. Hope to see more of these riders in the National Series
next year.
Also
running during the King of the Hill final was the Ride the Hill
Marathon Challenge. The Marathon Challenge is made up of complete
the 4 our the centre's runs (the orchard, blue, red and boarderx
run) is the fastest time (this also includes lift time as well.)
Before this final the fastest time was held by Dave Compton with
a time of 6m21secs but on the day the fastest time went to Adam
Justice with a time of 6m17secs. Apparently Adam had had too much
Red Bull and had developed wings.
Thanks
to all the riders for taking part and making this competition
happen also to Doug at XBP and James at SuperBole for running
the competitions and Sue Cox for helping Doug with the final.
Plus a big thank you to the manufacturers who donated some excellent
prizes including EXIT, TKC, Surrey Skate and MBS UK.
See
you in 2005........
PS: apologies
for delay in posting results just waiting for Doug to confirm
the final positions
