Do you have the skills, enthusiasm and patience to train people to Mountainboard?
Key Skills:
- Excellent Communicator
- Customer Focus
- Stress tolerance
The successful candidates will be excellent communicators with the ability to put learners from a wide variety of backgrounds at their ease. They will be able to translate their own skill and enthusiasm into words and demonstrations to enable any rider from beginner to experienced to improve their skills. They will need to show an adaptable approach and be inventive and patient when thinking of ways to offer training. The ability to remain focused on customer service is vital, as is the ability to deal with stress in a patient and tolerant way.
A background in training would be an advantage, as would experience in dealing with children and young people. A first aid certificate is a bonus.
Enthusiasm is a must, as is a degree of physical fitness.
Seasonal part-time (regular weekend or holiday work) or Casual (to assist during busy periods may be weekday or weekend) positions are available.
As the centres are set in the countryside which are not served well with public transport, all candidates must be able to get to and from the centre using own transport
