RTH - Hi Ryan!

Ryan - Hi,

RTH - Whats your role in the Ride the Hill team?

Ryan - I guess you could call me the crash test dummy of the team.

RTH - There is always one mate! How long have you been riding for? What did you do with your spare time beforehand?

Ryan - I've been mountainboarding for about three years, but before I discovered the glory that is mountainboarding, I was really into skateboarding.

RTH - A positive start to good things. Skating gives Mountainboarders great style. So obviously skaters inspire you, we know that, but closer to home, who do you keep your eyes on?

Ryan - I feel my riding has been influenced a lot by Alan Newman as he was my Mr Meagie of skateboarding, I swiftly repaid the favour the day I showed him a mountainboard!

RTH - That is a great repayment dude! What a friend you are! So where do you spend your free time?

Ryan - My favourite place to steal cars is London.....  but i also enjoy a nice summers ride at Fittelworth, the place where all the magic began for me.

RTH - And you use all those stolen cars to get there hey!? Run us through your perfect day Ryan....

Ryan - A perfect day for me would start off at Wanyi Parc (Belgium's best centre) with the smell of a sweet bacon bap, then a swift drive down to the Belgium boarder to freshen up in the river followed by a full day of riding hard, toped off with a chilled BBQ an camp fire with my chums.

RTH - Oh yes, that sounds good, we will have one of those days! What are you most pysched about this year?

Ryan - This year I'm really looking forward to the RTH vert jam as I feel my level of riding has somewhat improved from last year, but it's also going to be cool to be appearing on the RTH Big Ramp Tour.

RTH - Nice plug! What tricks are you going for this year mate?

Ryan - I'd love to learn back side boadslides to backside 270 out, sweet.

RTH - That is a ballsy trick mate! Good luck to you! What part of riding in 2010 are you most stoked for?

Ryan - Riding with Ieuan! It reassures me that if the granddad can do it, it cant be that hard!

RTH - Ieuan is always getting it! Whats the best thing about being on the RTH team mate?

Ryan - The best thing about being on the Ride the Hill Team is all of the friendly faces doing a awesome job in promoting a great sport, oh.... and the free perks.

RTH - Free perks? Never! We are proper tight! What groovy board are you riding mate?

Ryan - My set-up is TRAMPA 35 Long, fitted with Trampa Superstar Hubs, Ratchet Bindings (Winter Cammo Graphic!) and Scrub Trucks.

RTH - Cool as winter cammo mate! What is your happiest Mountainboard memory?

Ryan - My happiest Mountainboard Memory is my first flip of course, it rocked!

RTH Sweet, good one to go with dude, and your best acheivement?

Ryan - My best Mountainboard achievement so far is a switch 270 to five 0 to fakie on the Vert Wall at XBP Mountainboard Centre.

RTH - That is a proper tech trick! You don't see many of those at the parks! Cheers for your time, any last words mate?
