Ieuan - Hi

RTH - Thanks for speaking to us today, lets get going with it. What is your role on the team?

Ieuan - I guess you could call me the old git of the team.

RTH - Nah, I'm sure that isn't true................ anyway, how long have you been riding dude? What did you do before Mountainboarding?

Ieuan - I've been Mountainboarding for about 6 or 7 years, but back in the old days, I was really into tiddlywinks.

RTH - Rad! So, the old time question, what are your main influences?

Ieuan - I feel my riding has been influenced a lot by Snowboarding and the pirates crew's movies.

RTH - So where is your favourite spot to ride?

Ieuan - My favourite place to ride is the XBP freestyle park but I also enjoy dodging trees in the woods.

RTH - Gotta love them trees! So run us through your perfect day mate.....

Ieuan - A perfect day for me would start off with a full and wholesome breakfast then I'd head to the park to learn some new tricks with mixed results and end hopefully not in casualty, maybe a massage afterwards.

RTH - Oh yeah, you have to have access to a good massage every now and then! So what are you looking forward to for the 2010 season?

Ieuan - This year I'm really looking forward to shredding the new free-cross (was super fun on my snowboard) but it's also going to be cool to ride the Cream Teas and Jam series again, it was so good last year, real progressive riding and always a fun group of guys.

RTH - What is your favourite trick and what are you planning to learn for this seasons events?

Ieuan - My favourite jib is 50-50 to K grind and I'd love to learn not to look at the camera whenever I stick a trick!

RTH - K grinds are the trick for this year apparently dude! Who is the one to watch for this year?

Ieuan - Lil' Rob Dryburgh, he gets me really stoked because he has such easy style (damn that kid)

RTH - Yeah Rob is on form at the moment, he is rocking the place! What is your favourite thing about being on the RTH team?

Ieuan - The best thing about being on the Ride the Hill Team is free entry to the centres & events because I'm tighter than a Scotsman.....

RTH - Sounds about right, you're Welsh! So tell us all about your customised TRAMPA board.......

Ieuan - My set-up is better than yours.

RTH - Ha! Sure it is! So when you look back on everything, what is your happiest Mountainboard memory?

Ieuan - My happiest Mountainboard memory is when Ryan knocked himself out, he kept twitching and stuff, it was so funny (only joking dude you know it scared the crap out of me)

RTH - and what about your proudest Mountainboard acheivement?

Ieuan - My best Mountainboard achievement is probably, competition wise; top 10 in the last round of Cream Teas and Jam, but I would say the number of people I've introduced to the sport and taught to ride over the years is a bigger achievement.

RTH - That is one of the biggest achievements you can have! Well, thanks for your time Ieuan, any last words?
